The grain management system has been designed to manage the activities of a grain store including the import and export of commodity to site, weighbridge management, vessel management, agency management, stock control, quality management and commodity traceability.

Database
An SQL Anywhere database as standard provides a robust platform for data storage including remote replication between sites using a variety of transfer methods.

Weighing Dialogue
A fixing can be created in advance for the collection or delivery of a commodity. The appropriate screen is selected for the transaction and all known data is retrieved. This allows the operator to add any additional transaction data and finally to weigh. An optional on site authority document can be printed and the vehicle will be classed as on site. Once loaded or unloaded the vehicle can return to the weighbridge and all previous date is retrieved before a final weight docket is produced.

Stock Management
In addition to the theoretical stock the software also manages the actual stock and the quality either by the load or weighted average within a stock location. Commodities are stored within defined stock locations which are further separated into bins and bays. The quantity, quality and source of a commodity stored in any location are maintained.

Email
Transaction reports can be automatically sent to both customers and suppliers in a variety of formats i.e. HTML, excel, DBF, TXT, DIF and XML.

Reporting
The software comes complete with a compliment of standard reports including bin bay and stock analysis reports. In addition we offer our integrated reports generator, enabling users to create the most advanced of bespoke reports, graphs, charts, label and entry screens.

Invoicing
Invoices can be generated on a daily, weekly or monthly basis and prior to printing can be viewed and amended, if required. Once the invoices have been produced the summary details can be posted to any accounts package.

Support
We offer a support contract for all aspects of the application to include support via telephone, modem and VPN. Within the contract we do minor changes requested and can either remotely upgrade or send it out to the customer on CD.
