Key Features of the New Traffic Light System:

Complete Autonomy: The new system operates fully automatically without requiring input from a weighbridge operator, streamlining the process and reducing human error. This is a major upgrade for our customer, as it allows for smoother, uninterrupted operations, even during off-hours.

Traffic Light Override: This allows site personnel to override the traffic light from red to green with an RF dongle to toggle the traffic light into weigh mode or allow the driver to pass if any unexpected problems arise with the truck on the bridge.

The Software: The Weighbridge itself is configured to change to red automatically when the driver puts weight on the bridge to signal the driver to stop. This records the weight of the truck and then after the weight is recorded changes to green so the driver may carry on.

After-Hours Loading Capabilities: With the automatic traffic light system in place, the site can now efficiently manage traffic flow and vehicle weights during after-hours loading, further enhancing productivity and minimizing delays.

Ethernet-to-Serial Connectivity: One of the standout features of this installation is the ability to connect the system to the existing network using Ethernet to serial communication. This allows for easy integration with most of our previously setup sites without the need for major infrastructure changes. Whether it's a new or older site, our system is designed to fit seamlessly, ensuring scalability and minimizing additional costs for our customers.
